Reviews
This snow removal tool proved to be reliable when dealing with light to moderate snowfall, it made the job noticeably easier compared to shoveling by hand. The assembly instructions could be clearer, but with help from an engineer friend we got it set up quickly, and once assembled it feels sturdy and well‑built.
This wheeled shovel is a pleasant surprise in both design and usability, offering far more quality than I expected for the price. Assembly was quick and straightforward, about 30 minutes total, and the manufacturer deserves credit for pre-attaching washers and nuts to every bolt. With only a few bolt types (each clearly distinct), there was no guesswork involved. Once assembled, the shovel performs well. The carbon steel blade clears wide paths efficiently, and the adjustable angles, both for the handle and the shovel head, make it easy to customize for your driveway or walkways. It may struggle with heavy, wet snow, but the large rubber wheels make repeated dumps easy and reduce strain compared to a traditional shovel. Overall the build feels sturdy and well-balanced, with smooth maneuverability even on rough or icy ground. It won’t replace a full snowblower, but for everyday winter use, it’s a highly capable tool that offers excellent value and thoughtful engineering. Unfortunately it doesn't fold down for super compact storage, but it balances well and I don't think I'll have a hard time carving out a place for it in the shed.
Amazing and easy to use
Assembly can be challenging, but make sure to organize everything before you start. I used this tool at work to shovel an entire street, not its intended use to that extent, but it performed well. Many potential buyers were interested, and I sent them directly to Garvee. Unfortunately, the failure was due to the hinge not being thick enough in heavy or dense snow, causing it to flex and bend, compromising the shovel’s integrity and strength. For home use, this would be perfect for light to moderate snow. During the worst snowstorms in Ohio, I continued to use this shovel and it did great, but it wasn’t meant for shoveling an entire street (building complex). Anyway, I bought another one because it works so well. I now know its limits. Mind you, the company hires a snow plow, but when they don’t make it, I still need to create walking paths for the facility. This thing is great, but be mindful of the swivel hinge bending and flexing under heavy snow or hitting uneven ground.
