Setup is straightforward: clean the steel, set the drill, engage the magnet, and go. The controls are simple and the handle position feels natural.
I’ve taken it to the full 50mm depth and it stayed locked in tight. No wandering and no flex in the rail. Just make sure to use the coolant bottle and steady feed.
The finish on the holes is excellent. With a little deburring, they’re ready for bolts. It’s made my structural work cleaner and faster.
I’ve taken it through 1" plate with the right cutter and coolant, and it handled it fine. Just go steady and let the tool do the work.
