We’ve never owned a metal detector before but we are slowly getting the hang of it. It’s really nice because you can set the sensitivity and depth you are looking for. Also, I like that there is a carrying case for everything considering there is an included shovel and headphones. With a little more finesse we will figure it out. One other feature we like is that it gives you a baseline for what may be quarter, penny, etc.
Awesome product! Easy to put together. The bag, shovel, headphones and detector itself are made well and should last. It is lightweight and is able to be used for tall or shorter individuals. We recently had our roof redone and this came in handy to pick up nails in the yard. My grandson had a blast helping as well so great gift for kids too. This is a great value and I would recommend this product. I hope this was helpful for you!
This doesn't feel like the sturdiest metal detector in the world, and there isn't a lot of room for adjustment of the arm (so sorry if you're super tall!). But it does, in fact, function exactly as expected! I used it in the woods behind my house and found a bunch of random metal bits and bobs including a 1950s license plate.It's fun but certainly a beginner / entry product that you will want to upgrade if you become interested in the hobby.
