Easy to use. 1year and no problems

This unit is stunning for the price and capability. I installed it a couple months ago in a 3 car garage to keep from dying of heat exhaustion in the 105f summers here. It wasn't difficult to install, but when I finally turned it on and could feel a cold breeze of air on the opposite wall I knew it was up to the task. It can yank the temperature in the garage down 10-15 degrees in an hour and then it just sits there drying out the air and circulating it at low speed. The darn garage is more comfortable than my house with its 10s of thousands of dollars in central air units. Especially irritating as there is something like a 5-10x price difference in far less advanced central AC unit that doesn't have variable speed compressors/fans/etc and is much lower seer. This thing seems to draw about 1/3rd the power of a similar central air capacity unit that cools my upstairs.Frankly stunning. But on that note while it comes with 15 foot refrigerant lines, it's probably worthwhile to assure that the unit is installed immediately on the opposite side of the wall from the indoor unit as I'm guessing that helps it's efficiency even more, as it doesn't actually have a liquid line.As others have noted it does tend to cool a bit more than the setpoint seems to indicate but at least some of that is because the air near my ceiling is a couple degrees warmer than near the floor when it's running.It's also almost dead silent outside most of the time unlike my central AC units which have the usual fan/etc noises when they are running. Similarly inside, when it's completely silent there is just the quite sounds of air moving rather than a big fan blasting air.

Only looses a star for not being the stated 23 SEER. It’s 22/8 Cooling/Heat. Not terrible. Install was straightforward. I was an auto tech in my previous career and I had a pump and manifold already. I did end up buying a Pioneer 410a specific manifold because the adapter I purchased didn’t work out the way I thought it would. I shortened my lines slightly so I wouldn’t have to coil the lines and had no issues doing so. No leaks when I vacuum and pressure tested the system. I really like the app. Only I wish it told you the current ambient temperature. Hopefully it’s just a matter of an update.

Great unit and was very easy to install. Moble app is excellent to turn on the unit before you get home to either cool or warm your home.
