This is perfect. I’m 73 and used this to paint my home and set up all lower roofing so I could stage the remainder. Expands easily and supports all the weight one would need. The price is great. ShorterWork plans at the local lumber yards are pricing over $100 more. Very functional and money saving piece of equipment.

One feature not listed in the Garvee listing is that there are threaded holes on each side of the plank for winged bolts, which are included. This allows you to set the plank's length and then "lock" it in place. I am going to use this as a boarding plank for my boat, so once I have the exact length I need from the dock to my boat, I can lock it in place and never have to fidget with it again.The quality is good, and the packing was done well. It arrived in good shape.
Had a small project of changing the facia boards on my house, 12 ft high. Worked better than scaffolding. Two of us putting up 12 foot hardiboard . Easy to setup. Cheaper than renting a manlift. Now I have a new tool to my arsenal.
Great for the job I have done
Bought this for a gang plank from ship to shore. I was surprised at how sturdy and strong it was. Was a little bit slippery when angled for the tide change, so I put on some grip strips.
