This arrived in a protective product box. I haven't flown for a few years but would imagine this case would not be too big for cabin carry on. The hard-shell I would say is medium hard, I do think it is a little flexible and not the best quality I have seen in a case. The tan brown parts do look a little plasticky so I am not a fan of the color. The wheels roll around (spinner wheels) in every direction perfectly although I am not sure what I think about them being so high. The wheels on the other hand have a good clearance from the ground, maybe it's something I need to get used to. The expandable handle feels a little wobbly but it does seem to pull okay. These can be adjusted in height by using the push in buttons as shown in my pictures. All the zippers slide easily. The outside zipper is double ended and the metal pulls lock into the security lock on the side. The instructions for this lock are found inside the case. Inside, the lining material feels and sounds crispy. I have found that most cases do not tend to have a good quality fabric inside and I would say this is a low quality material. This has a flap on one side which has a zipper mesh pocket. The flap has a double ended zipper also. Overall this case is okay and for the price it is a good buy. I would describe this as a middle of the road suitcase. Due to the reasonable price I do feel it is only fair to give this a 4 star rating.

It's very good quality luggage. It's perfect size for weekend trips or carry on luggage. The material feels sturdy, it does not feel like it will collapse with other luggage on top of it .I love the navy and brown color. I highly recommend that luggage!

I have owned and used Tumi luggage for over 20 years, certainly rugged and well made to hold up looking great after all these years (you would never know). However it is also really expensive to replace and my carryon piece and checked bags are dated at this point (no spinner wheels existed back when I purchased it) and it makes schlepping the luggage a pain. So I took a chance and ordered this one.The pros:Colors, materials, spinning wheels, handle extension, two carrying compartments with one zippered with its own addition storage/zippered area. The external zippers were strong - because I did not have an expandable feature I did cram it with what I needed then laid on it to hold down while I zipped it shut. Wheels worked great, handle expanded easily and has various height levels to set it at depending on your height. Received lots of compliments from family and friends we travelled with including my Tumi-bound husband who suggested he might get one too given the price.The cons:The material feels cheap but it held up (so that's also a pro), it was not expandable so my way of cramming and closing it gave me a bit of anxiety it was going to break and I would have to buy another suitcase once at my destination BUT it held up fine - no stretching or pulling on the zipper or connection of it to the suitcase itself so I guess that's a great 'pro'.It is so far a safe bet and I have no complaints just a share of my worries from my observation and comparison to Tumi which has a legacy of being a great product - - so I think that means this one held up well against it and that is impressive.

As far as I know, there are two types of wheeled luggage out there and this type of wheels are the best, in my opinion! I love that this baggage doesn't need to be tilted to roll which makes it so easy to use, especially in crowded areas. It feels like it goes by itself and all you have to do is to hold it and point it in the right direction.I recently traveled with my kids and we had different types of carry-ons with us, so during this trip I realized that this type of wheels is what we needed!
