Decent float, for a decent price. Shipping took longer than expected but arrived intact. Did the job.

We wanted to make our patio area large with a slab of concrete. The rain makes that area really muddy. After pouring the concrete, this float made leveling it out so much faster. In the past, we have used 2x4, which were not that efficient at the job. This large float makes even and level areas on wet-poured concrete. The tool washes off easily with a garden hose if you did not allow the concrete to dry. This tool also comes apart into pieces for easier storage. Must have a tool for larger areas of fresh-poured concrete.

Pros: I like the easy to assemble/disassemble steel handle, and the float itself, whatever it actually is made of, does a great job, it is lightweight and easy to use, even for a small time DIYer like myself.Cons: The float head is described numerous times as being either aluminum or magnesium. Which is it? Both are lightweight metals that do not corrode when exposed to moisture exclusively, so it is difficult to tell. It should be clearly stated, and that brings the review down to four stars.
