Had to figure out how to use this machine. It kept getting tangled up and had to unwind it a few times. Once I got it to work it did great. Got the clogged pipe cleaned out . I'm glad I got it to work after a while could be better though.

Wow! Really like the machine. Buying it is cheaper than having a plumber show up to the house. Now, as for the "leather" safety gloves; they are not leather. They are cloth backed soft vinyl and when they get wet they are instantly sucked into the coils of the cable. In the time your foot leaves the pneumatic switch stopping the machine one's hands are thoroughly squashed and trapped in the cheaper than cheap gloves. Exciting!!What an adventure! So, after giving the fake leather gloves the usage test, I put on a pair of real leather gloves I'd gotten at McCoys, Lowes or maybe Home Depot. They were perfection! Brilliant performers much like the auger machine did its job. Brilliantly.Sad bit is those nasty gloves cost the machine a Star.So, skip the fake leather gloves and start with a pair of REAL Leather gloves!! VivaChas!

Works well to clean your drain, so no more having to rent one anymore and the fuss of have to drive down and pick it up and return it well wort the money. If you want, you can help your neighbor clear their drains and make a couple bucks on the side.

This unit just arrived today , I will try it out later and add to this review . But the add was misleading as this did not come with auto feed as it stated .

I have a septic system with a 100-foot run, and tree roots have caused multiple clogs. Renting a machine for about $70 was frustrating, so I decided to buy this unit.I needed a low-cost machine with a 75-foot, 1/2-inch cable, and this model was perfect. It was cheaper than local options and included a footswitch, GFCI plug, and gloves.The machine was easy to set up and stable on the hillside. After testing the GFCI, I powered it on and used the basic coil head. Feeding the cable was a bit awkward but manageable.I used a cutter to clear the clog, and retracting the cable was smooth. The “C” cutter bit worked well.Overall, despite a few minor annoyances, it got the job done, and I’m satisfied. Now I just need to find a place to store it!
