I bought a small roll to test out from another vendor and did not think it was very good. Purchased this roll and loved it, I have purchased a 2nd roll as well. Nice and heavy, the landscape staples do not pull through. I walk all over it and the fabric doesn't loosen up or strings pull (if you use cheaper stuff you know what I mean). Not a single complaint with this product after 2 purchases.
I have purchased this type of weed barrier four times now in different sizes. This large size is for a 100' x 200' garden, that I am going to cover in total because the weeds are out of control. We have used this product in our garden, and in our raised beds. It is a game changer! Over the years we have spent literally hundreds and hundreds of dollars on weed barrier at the box stores. And it seems to incubate weeds! They grow right through that thin, almost papery barriervery quickly. It wasn't until just a 3 years ago that we read about landscape weed barrier. It is a little bit more of an initial cost, but we haven't had to buy new weed barrier for previous installationsgoing on three years that we've used this product. You will have to buy spikes to ensure that you get this down appropriately. You can't just lay it on the ground and leave it there!We have used this for more than a weed barrier in a garden… We've used it under a pathway down to our chicken coop, then covered it with gravel. We've also used it underneath an area we put a garden swing.
