I had a large but not overly heavy (500#) box being delivered that I needed to unload from a semi, My 42" forks weren't long enough, so I ordered these 84" extensions. They arrived quickly and in good shape. I drilled a hole in them near the tip of my forks and put a 5" 1/4x20 bolt through them to stop them from bouncing off in rough terrain. These are simple, heavy duty and worked great, happy with the purchase.

Works as advertised. Not much could go wrong with these. Easy to put on and take off. Worked great on my forks to give me extra reach, and to pick up things larger than a pallet. Your UPS man will love you for buying these.

I purchased the 60" version of these for my 42" forks. From what I've read you shouldn't go longer than 1.5 times your existing length. In the description it shows the length but it's incorrect. It should show the total length from end to end as 60". It didn't make any difference for my application though. The extensions are heavy gage steel and will work great for the average person. These are probably not the right extensions if you are using these with a high lift capacity machine. In that case you will need to spend around 5 times this price. I'm very pleased for my first application lifting 1000 lbs. This is 250 lbs. at the end of each fork extension.
