This desk was perfect for my needs, it is hefty, strong, and the wood is gorgeous. monitor stands are 5 inches deep and 5 inches tall which is perfect when you use monitor arms like I did. Very good quality and incredibly spacious. the holes on the desk for the stands have motel threads bolted inside so it will last easily. My plan is to find an acrylic fab that will make acrylic the will fit solely the L part to make a light box effect. Get this desk it does not disappoint!!! Just to be clear, the pkg is like 80lbs so make sure you have help if it needs to go a far distance and god forbid upstairs. but it is packaged amazingly.
Great desk! A bit taller than I expected, but that's my own fault, lol.The instructions were good, although keep an eye out for the holes on the various frame and support beam pieces, as some parts need to facing certain ways. I also found that some things were off by a smidge or not perfectly even, which I didn't mind, but my dad (who is a bit of a perfectionist) fussed over the shelves not being level, and the drawer being a bit noisy going in and out, as it drags against the sides and is very hard to adjust, so keep that in mind.On the topic of my Dad: I recommend having at least one other person help you out, as its easier to hold things in place while fastening them with another pair of hands! I also recommend having your own tools. The phillips-head screwdriver the kit came with warped after few uses and the wrench was so thin it was very hard to hold the nut in place, but the organization of the tools, screws, and other bits was nice! Everything came in neatly labeled pockets, and there were plenty of spare screws!
Can you guys knock on the door and help them put it inside?
Very easy to assemble and incredibly solid. I'm extremely happy with the versatility of the design. It came with 3 sets of instructions depending on which design you wish to use. Takes up less space than my old desk while simultaneously giving me more space. I needed a setup that allowed me to use all 3 monitors and have a space for my printer. Took me only an hour or so to assemble by myself in a rather limited space.
