Great desk! A bit taller than I expected, but that's my own fault, lol.The instructions were good, although keep an eye out for the holes on the various frame and support beam pieces, as some parts need to facing certain ways. I also found that some things were off by a smidge or not perfectly even, which I didn't mind, but my dad (who is a bit of a perfectionist) fussed over the shelves not being level, and the drawer being a bit noisy going in and out, as it drags against the sides and is very hard to adjust, so keep that in mind.On the topic of my Dad: I recommend having at least one other person help you out, as its easier to hold things in place while fastening them with another pair of hands! I also recommend having your own tools. The phillips-head screwdriver the kit came with warped after few uses and the wrench was so thin it was very hard to hold the nut in place, but the organization of the tools, screws, and other bits was nice! Everything came in neatly labeled pockets, and there were plenty of spare screws!

This desk is top quality. It is sturdy & the assembly instructions were above my expectations. Unfortunately, it was missing the power unit. I understand. It happens. Right off the top, it is not the seller's fault. The desk was so well-packaged that it was obvious the part never made it into the package from the manufacturer. Garvee wanted me to return it for a replacement. I was not about to spend 3+ hours assembling it only to disassemble it & return it & then wait for a replacement & spend 3+ hours putting that one together. I finally managed to get a support link to the manufacturer. I contacted them twice & have never gotten a response. Why is it so difficult to just send me the missing power unit? That is all I am asking for. At this point, I would gladly replace it myself but I have no idea what to replace it with that will fit the hole in the top of my desk. It really is a shame because the desk itself is ideal. If you buy one & it has all the parts it will be the best deal you've made in a while.
