The GARVEE Oversized Leather Standard Recliner arrived perfectly packaged in perfect condition, all parts present and accounted for. Some stated that the arm pillows are missing, they are not missing, they are tucked snuggly underneath the chair wrapped in plastic. The seat cushion and the back cushion are shrink wrapped in plastic. They are currently reinflating nicely. The arms are nice and plush plump, the seat and back are nice and firm but not hard, comfy. Some stated the arms would not velcro close or stay closed. You must remove a cloth strip from the velcro on the seat part as per the instructions and then the arms will velcro securely down. The seat is nice and wide. The foot rest fit me just perfect. I am 5'5 and my feet just came to the end of the footrest. Reclining gives me extra foot room of course. However, if you're 5'7" and above, your feet will hang off. The footrest does require a good force to shut. For now I am pleasantly calling this leg exercises. It would be hard for someone with weakened leg strength. The entire chair and all of its parts came in one box. The box is heavy, however, I just flipped it end over end until I got it in the door and that worked well for me without problem, I am 50. The instructions are more in pictures than words. However, the assembly was pretty straightforward and took about 5 minutes. It feels and seems like it would definitely hold the weight it says and feels very sturdy. I am overall very happy with this chair.

Very pretty and matched my current set. Purchased the oversized chair and glad we did. Shipping was fast and assembly was fairly easy as well. Instructions were easy to read. However, I will say it’s not the most comfortable recliner, but it works.

I bought this chair as a gift, and the recipient raves about it daily. It’s the gift that keeps on giving comfort.

Im loving this chair.. it came a day early... it was a little confusing to assemble, but once we figured it out, it was a breeze to put together..I'm 5' 2" so the seat depth is perfect, my feet actually sit flat on the floor while im sitting in the chair. There are only 2 things i dont like 1. is the release pull handle, i think a button release would be better. 2. Because i have short legs its a bit hard to push the foot rest down to get out of the chair. All in all for the price this chair was a good buy for me. I give it 4.5 stars, mainly because of the type of release handle it has.
