I ordered this chair because I was having surgery and a lift recliner was recommended. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I didn’t plan to keep the chair. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and look of the chair. It has a lift and massage option.
I no longer need the chair but placed it in another room in our house and it goes perfectly. I didn’t place near an outlet but love the look.
My father is unable to sit straight enough in his hospital bed, he has used this every night and worn it down. For what I paid I think we have more than gotten our monies worth. It assisted him in learning to stand again and he feels comfortable in it. If you are using this less than he does the I would say you would get more life out of it. He is extremely rough on recliners, always has been. The fabric is coming apart on the back and the cushioning has broken down in the lumbar region.
