Awning arrived quickly well packaged. Assembly was easy and because it’s adjustable, we were able to put it over a window in our sunroom that has odd size. The sun in summer is very hot and makes the sunroom too warm to enjoy. The temperature with this awning is noticeably cooler! I highly recommend this product and have already recommended it to some other family members and friends. Great value for the money looks fabulous on our sunroom!

This awning has met my expectation with the exception that I read the measurements wrong. I thought it extended 118”…it does not; however, I’m keeping it. Easy to install, does take patience. I needed something to shelter me from the afternoon sun and right now I’m on my deck while it’s drizzling outside. For the price you really can’t beat it.

It is possible for one person to put together but it does take two people to stand it up. And it helps tremendously if the one person doesn’t put it together backwards to begin with. The instructions on in the package and all parts are numbered but in this box they had 2 number 16 when there should have been a 15&16, no number 15, so that’s how I got it backwards

Given the cost of most awnings, this item is a godsend! I was looking for options to block the afternoon sun in a west-facing bedroom when I discovered this, and it is PERFECT (even matches the color of my house)!Maybe I shouldn't say perfect, because I did have to put cinder blocks under the supports to get them to reach the eaves, and I think that if I had tightened them sufficiently to lock them in place (the support poles can be lengthened by unscrewing their bases) I would have stripped the mechanism. Similarly, the little plastic gizmos that are used to tighten other locking bolts are too fragile to allow proper tightening, but all in all, it is a great product.Since I live in an area prone to tornadoes and such, and have plenty of experience with RV awnings and wind, the last thing I want to see is this awning flying across my yard. To prevent that, I made up a couple of brackets and securely fastened the supports to the wall of the house, and, since the plastic tops did not want to stay flush against the wall, I fastened them to the eave with a couple of stainless deck screws.So far the awning has weathered the wind and rain well. Later in the season I will roll it up to take advantage of the afternoon sun, and when spring turns again to summer we'll see how well the rolled-up fabric held up. Frankly, even if it needs replacing, it was still money well spent.

We love this awning! We bought to install of our French doors on the exterior. Living in the PNW, we knew we would need something sturdy and are very pleased. The poles are strong and the cover is nice and thick.A few extra thoughts:You will need additional brackets to attach the poles to the house. It only comes with one pair.The instructions are easy to follow, but this is a 2 person job. Don't attempt installing alone.There is a small gap between the top of the awning and the structure. It does not sit flush against the house. This is okay for us because the roof overhang is sufficient to cover it at our house.
