The rust prevention could be better just paint it before usage

So far not a bad product for the price. The biggest problem is the coating (paint) isn’t the best. It scuffs easily I noticed this so thinking ahead and painted it with a heavier product to protect it. The weight of it isn’t bad. It fits smaller vehicles sub compact SUV just fine. As with any accessory it adds drag on handling just don’t put larger boxy items in the front so it has some noise but not any worse than other baskets for the top. So far it seems to be durable have not had any problems not doing what I want it to do

Good budget roof cargo basket

Perfect size for my car.

This was the perfect size for my 2017 VW Tiguan. It fit on my crossbars without an issue. I do wish the fairing was longer so that it reached my roof, but it’s not a big deal. It appears very durable and did well during my vacation. It has been on my car for 1000 miles. I added a cargo bag for convenience.

Good Fit On 2026 Subaru Ascent.

We used this on my wife's 2026 Subaru Ascent for our vacation this year. I bought the 64x50. It set up well on the rack that came on this vehicle. With it we used the iBirdie Roof Rack 36.4 Cubic Feet Cargo Carrier which fit on this rack very well. The mounting system that came with this rack kept the rack very secure all week, 700 miles each way.
