Having spent all summer using this unit in my room, it is definitely what I was looking for! The quiet mode is actually low enough to not be picked up by my microphone after filters are applied.My old unit would get by the heaviest noise canceling filters to the point where you couldn't even hear me, OR I'd sound like Optimus prime.Remote is ir so you do have to be point it at the unit, or in my case a mirror to get it around my bookshelf 😂My only gripe with this model is that the screen doesn't turn off while the unit is on. I like to sleep in silence and darkness, and this thing lights up my entire room at night 😭Worth while purchase, it did get a mildew stink to it twice on days where I had it running at max for over 8 hours. But that went away after letting it sit for a day. Persisted even after cleaning the drain so I still have no idea what the actual issue was. Regardless it has not come back with moderate use, or leaving it in eco mode all day!

I wish I had discovered this type of air conditioner sooner! I really love that I can still look out of the window with it installed. It really is so much quieter than traditional ac's. It keeps my room at a perfect temperature. Would definitely buy this again!

Works nice for sunroom

Installed this 8000 BTU AC myself in about 30 minutes. Fits my double-hung window securely. It's powerful, quiet, and the WiFi app is super useful. The washable filter is a plus for easy maintenance. Exactly what I needed.

The full window view is the best feature! Lets in so much light. It's also very energy-efficient and whisper-quiet on sleep mode. App control is convenient for adjusting temps before I get home. Easy to install and works great.
