A little thin

Heavy Duty might be a stretch. They are exactly what is described but the aluminum is kinda thin. You have to use plates to spread the mounting loads

It wouldn't stop a grenade blast, but...

It wouldn't stop a grenade blast, but for the screaming low price point I can avoid grenades and be happy knowing no BB gun attacks can get me.Seriously, it's not the thickest sheet metal, and for storing anything of significant weight it needs reinforcement, but for a sub $70 undercarriage storage box with a lock and two keys it's hard to go wrong. Just keep your expectations at a realistic level and understand you usually get what you pay for. In this instance, though, I believe I got much more than I paid. I'll be caulking all seams, then lining it with 1/2" plywood, top, bottom and sides, and giving it plenty of structural support from the mounts and it should be everything I need to store my small gas generator under my tiny house on wheels.
