This is a fantastic chair for the price. I had no problem assembling it and it’s sturdy as can be. The only problem I have is my Granddaughter has taken it over. Great product.

Chair is excellent. I can’t sleep in a bed anymore and the chair was easy to assemble, sturdy, and comfortable. My dog is able to sleep with me on it.

There is definitely something to like about this recliner, but I mostly have criticisms. My initial warnings are regarding the quality of the chair, its fabric and padding, and honestly how unattractive it is in general. The padding is not thick enough density to keep its shape after some initial use - meaning - you're going to end up seeing your butt marks permanently indented into the seat almost immediately. The thin fabric has exposed staples in some areas, which isn't the best for quality of construction. Also the overstuffed appearance is generally visually unappealing, but you can tell that from the photos in the listing so it won't be surprising when it arrives and looks like the photos.Here are my positive remarks though. For the price (around $250), there are better recliners out there. But if there's ever a price drop or sale, I think even $200 would be a good deal for the chair. Assembly is comparable to other chairs of similar designs. Might be a pain, but it's not abnormal.I think of this chair as somewhat disposable. I KNOW I KNOW. That's a terrible thing to say, but bear with me here. If you're bleeding from a C-Section or surgery, you won't want to sit down on anything beautiful and stain it with your "fluids," and based on my personal experience, I'm not going to walk around putting towels down to protect furniture every time I want to sit down during recovery. This chair is something you wouldn't mind destroying as you recover, and the dark brown color won't easily show stains anyway.It's fairly comfortable, and it's HUGE so there is plenty of room for a toddler or baby to cuddle up next to you even while in reclining mode. Speaking of, pretty easy to move between recline and upright modes.So it really depends on your planned usage. In my opinion, postpartum or post-surgery recovery this is a great chair. For aesthetics, I'd have gotten a different chair :-)
