Well worth the money... My first ever portable a.c unit... Got the 8,000 BTU version.. Blows out ice cold air, very small an compact, nice an quiet, just what I needed for my mancave which is about a full size living room!!

I recommend to get this AC. When you have your big room.

Just set it up. Didn’t realize there was a giant hose that has to be connected to a window but other than that eye sore, it’s perfect. Bye bye night sweats!Oh and the window piece doesn’t fit my window which is a basic sized window. I rigged it up to work though… thank god for curtains to cover that messAlso, it’s not very quiet I was expecting it to be way more quiet

I just bought this unit and started use it the day after a got it.Soon I realized that the drain plug was missing and the drain itself damaged.So I had to improvise a "hose" to keep my floors from getting damage.I sent an email to the seller, let's see what happens.As for the unit itself, I love it.The noise is louder than what I expected, so I keep it in the living room because it would disrupt my sleep.Easy to operate, nice design.

It works well, blowing cold hair. Took off star because its not quiet and no automatic cut off. When set temp is reached unit's fan stays on, keeping the noise level up and it continuously running. Sleep mode button does not seem to do anything.We were able to connect pvc pipe to the drain for continuous draining.

The unit works great. But the hose sucks. Keeps coming off the two end pieces and I had to duct tape them to stay attached. Also the hose it self gives off a lot of heat so you’re going to want to order an insulation cover or wrap with a towel. The hose issues is the reason for 4 stars not 5. The unit itself works great!

This GARVEE portable AC works better than I expected. Installation and set up are very easy. It comes with a window kit and the hose screws on to the adapters and those snap in. I used one screw, which was included. It is quiet and the controls, remote and buttons are easy to use. It cools well and the swing feature is nice. It does everything it says it will do. It's also small and light weight, making it easy to move. Only time will tell how long it will last. Right now, I feel like I got an excellent bargain.

Very easy to set up and it wotks very well. I love it and would recomended any body thats a good portable air condition . Low noise ,cool very well. Better then a window unit.
