Reviews
Easy to install as long as you know what your doing. Has run for several days with no issues. Keeps our back kitchen area cool. My only suggestion is the condensation line to divert water could be a more heavy-duty line. I will replace it with carflex tubing.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my 4th mini split I've installed on the house and just wanted one of the cheapest units I could find. Found this at $387 with a good SEER rating. The price has gone up a little since I bought mine, but I'd still recommend it.Cooling ability:Installed this in my daughters room and it's held temps in Arizona 110+ without breaking a sweat. Real quiet and sips energy. I also like how the unit has both vertical and horizontal fan swings to help send the cool air throughout the room.
Aún no lo he usado para enfriar, pero para calentar si. Calienta muy bien nuestra habitación
Bought this on sale for $450 and it’s really great. It took 7 hours to install but it was worth it. DIY install with a vacuum pump and manifold in accordance with the included instructions worked fine. Lots of prep work and accessories needed but I’m probably $550 all in. I can’t imagine a better deal. I’ll update in a few months but it’s keeping my accessory dwelling very warm in 15deg weather. Line set is short. It should be 25’ but it’s only 16.4’ so be prepared.
Came with an extra packet of plasticene and an extra drain hose. Also came with a plastic tube for the hole made through the wall. The unit works great. I plugged it into the wall with a 15 amp breaker. Please note not to use a GFCI outlet. This also means any GFCI outlet in tandem to the breaker as that will also trip the gfci further down the wall. This will happen after 5 minutes of it turning on as that's when the compresser kicks in. I recommend 14 gauge wiring instead of the common 16 gauge. Remember to hook the communication wires first before doing anything else as you will need to access to the front panel in order to do so. To install this, you will need a vacuum pump, phillips head screwdriver, hex wrench, and hole saw bit. Everything else you need is included.
Honestly got lazy towards the end of installing, but it works perfectly, it's freezing cold ❄️, and blazing hot 🔥.Am a little slow so I didn't know until after I bought R410a refrigerant on some sus website that theres already refrigerant inside the system.Took me from 9 AM to 8PM to install but it was insanely easy, if i had planned and not have been running back and forth to harbor freight for tools to install the fan in such an uncomfortable place it would've easily taken me 2 hours to install.
I turned my back porch into an office (I work from home) and did not want to mess with the home AC, so looked into Mini Split. This one is awesome. 9,000 BTU is an overkill for my space but the less BTU was more expensive. I love that can work with an app. I turn it on from my room (in bed, lol), by the time I get ready and go into the office is super cold. I love it. I like the fact that the temperature stays consistent all through out the day. Is supper silent, inside and outside unit as well. While standing next to it outside, you cannot hear it, super silent. The remote works fine as well.
My bluetti AC180 1800W 1152Wh will run this unit for almost 2 hours very quite Cools my 6'x12' enclosed trailer quickly. This past weekend we ran it for 10 hours at Slingfest in Alabama on a generator in 93⁰ weather with 100% humidity and never misses a beat. Very easy to install all you need is a vacuum pump the lines for 30 minutes wait to see of the lines leak if all good disconnect the pump oper the lines and turn it on enjoy the cool.
Used this mini split in a smaller upstairs room that had no AC. Brough the summer time room temps down from upper 80’s to a comfortable 73 degrees quickly.Have had no issues with the unit.
