Though the air blows out to the left of the machine instead of straight forward it works just fine. It has cooled my 87° living room down substantially!

I bought 2 of the 10k BTU portable GARVEE a/c units on a whim, and honestly, they’re pretty impressive!I have one down my hallway near my bathroom and that one just runs intermittently because I use the evaporation tray. It keeps my bathroom much cooler and comfortable!I have the other installed in my bedroom. I have the hose go into a bucket and I do have the a/c unit raised up on a flat container with the bucket on the floor so gravity can help the drainage hose drain into a bucket (drilled a hole in the lid and so the hose stays perfectly in it). That way, the unit runs continuously as it can continuously drain and doesn’t need to stop to evaporate.It keeps both rooms really cool and for the price, these are exceptional units. Honestly, I could t find anything less expensive through any other retailer.The noise level doesn’t bother me, but I tend to like white noise, and the fact that it runs continuously in my bedroom helps too. So much easier than the large window units for me!

It’s performing well, but it’s only been a few days that we’ve had it. We were so pleased with the quick delivery. It arrived 4 days before it was scheduled. Easy operation with easily viewed display, and also includes remote. Everything you need was included for installation. So far, would definitely recommend and the price was right!
