Great little ac unit.

At 3ft from the front of the unit, off center so not to get air blowing on the microphone, tested at 70dB on low and 72dB on high during the active part of the cooling cycle.This is a huge drawback as it means at the size of room it is meant to operate in it will be very loud, like sitting next to an outdoors A/C unit. It does however cool very well and it works quite quickly for its size - it dropped a large bedroom with a 14ft ceiling 1°F in less than 5 minutes.The included kit also worked pretty well. I would recommend getting some foam tape to help make a better seal in the gaps of your window. You might also want to consider wrapping the tube in something insulating like bubble wrap, because it gets very hot and radiates back into the room which reduces efficiency (this is a problem with almost all portable A/C units).My only other complaint is the outlet vents have a tendency to snap shut if not fully opened, I recommend jamming something into it to keep this from happening as the unit will keep the fan running whether it's open or closed which could potentially lead to a failure of some sort.

This A/C has it all and works amazing. I used all the functions available and they are all spot on. The unit keeps my space icy cool and it was so easy to install. You are getting way more for the price of this little gem. The price for this is amazing for all that you get. It definitely reduces the humidity like magic. The size is great too because it doesn't consume all your space.

4 stars because It’s not as quiet as advertised. It cools but it’s for bedroom and it’s too loud even in sleep mode.Easy to put together. Wish it oscillated though.
