This portable air conditioner has been working well for keeping smaller rooms comfortable during the hotter Florida days. Setup was straightforward with the included window kit and exhaust hose, and I had it up and running fairly quickly without needing any special tools or modifications.The cooling performance has been impressive for the size. It brings the room temperature down quickly and does a good job maintaining it once the space is cooled off. I also like having the fan and dehumidifier functions built in since humidity control makes a huge difference in overall comfort here.The wheels make it easy to move between rooms when needed, and the remote control is convenient for adjusting settings without getting up constantly. Noise levels are reasonable for a portable AC unit and the sleep mode helps keep things quieter at night.One thing I would recommend for best efficiency is insulating the exhaust hose since portable AC hoses radiate a surprising amount of heat back into the room. Adding a hose insulation sleeve noticeably improved overall cooling performance in my setup.Currently listed for sale at $250.00, this feels like a good value for anyone needing supplemental cooling, a renter-friendly solution, or backup cooling during extreme summer temperatures and storm season outages.
