Installed 2 of them

Put 2 of theses in the 12000 btu model in for a friend and he couldn't be happier with them. They cool great and also heat great he has had them in for almost a full year. They cool his upstairs bedroom and his complete downstairs. For the price they are great value.

Great investment

All the money I have wasted on a new HVAC unit, ductwork, insulation, having the roof coated and still not keeping my house cool but running constantly led me here!!!This is the best money I have spent on ANYTHING. It cools almost immediately. My bedroom is the “hot room” … not in a good way lol but it just will not stay cool. I have this mounted in the corner of my room above the bed so the air travels into other areas. I was recommended this by a friend whose house (we live in mobile homes) mine has ZERO trees and a tin roof and his house is 3 times the size but has tree coverage. His power bill has been consistently $600 and the past 3 months it has been less than $300 and he is running this unit and a larger one in the opposite side of the house. As far as performance and reliability GARVEE is top notch especially at this price point. The major brands run 3 times more expensive. It is pretty quiet but it has a sleep and mute mode that really cut down the noise when used.Installation… no amount of YouTube videos was going to help me with this. I did need to get wire, an electrical box and a can of foam sealant and my friend installed it. I can not do electrical stuff and couldn’t cut a whole thru my wall, it is not on my 54 year old, short and chunky woman’s list of things to do before I die. Also you need a “pump” to get it completed. It does come with the Freon included so that helped. It can be a DIY project if you have the pressure pump thingy but all in all I paid another $200 for parts and labor. He is a certified HVAC contractor but did not go thru his company which saved me money also. I may get another one for the other side of the house because living in the South in summer is brutal but luckily I used Garvee’s payment plan and that in itself was a lifesaver. It is set on 61 because I did not run it because I turned it off and went out of town. It is very cold in here now and turned it to 70 and put it on auto.CONS: it has a remote. That would not be bad if it included a bracket to put the remote in since I lose my remote for the TV, my glasses, keys and phone regularly. I have double sided tape on it currently so atleast it will stick on my nightstand. That is legit the only con.

This mini split delivers premium comfort without the premium price.

The unit arrived in sturdy packaging, with no damage or missing parts. The installation process was straightforward, and the mounting bracket felt solid and secure. The wiring diagram and user manual were clear enough for a confident DIY install, though professional help is always an option. From the moment I turned it on, the airflow was powerful yet gentle. It cools my space evenly, even on hot afternoons, and the dehumidification mode is a welcome bonus during humid spells. The inverter compressor ramps up and down smoothly, so I don’t hear harsh starts or stops. With a 20 SEER rating, I’ve already noticed a dip in my monthly electric bill compared to my old window unit. The heat pump handles chilly mornings effortlessly, making it a true four-season workhorse. What surprised me most is the noise level—or lack thereof. The indoor fan is barely a whisper, and the outdoor unit is so quiet that my neighbors haven’t even asked about it. The remote feels intuitive, with a backlit display. The sleep timer and swing louvers are small touches that make a big difference overnight.Bottom line: this mini split punches way above its price class. It’s efficient, quiet, and dead simple to use. Whether you’re upgrading a garage, a sunroom, or a whole home office, I’d say this is one of the smartest HVAC investments you can make. Highly recommended for anyone who wants real performance without breaking the bank.

Cheap hardware
Nice unit for the money

Easy to install very quiet my only issue is slight tick noise when lovers move all the way to left but other then that cools room down quickly and can find better deals but time will tell how long it last
