So far so good use in bedroom. Keep house in Arizona 77 degrees at night, turn this on to bring room I sleep in to 68 degrees cools room in about 20 mins. Rooms sq ft about 275. I also went ahead and put a dryer vent to outside thro stucco wall, only recommended if you know what your doing lol. didn't want to mess with window vent.

Bought two 12,00 BTU units for 100+ degree weather while upgrading our HVAC system. Pulled them out of the box plugged them in and set the comfort temp. The compressor ran continuously during the heat of the day for 7 days straight. They only thing we had to do was empty the condensation from small plastic trash cans we use to collect the water. We closed off rooms we didn't use consistently use and these two unit kept 1100 square feet of living space cool.

Great portable ac, takes a second to really get going but overall 5 stars. Bought 2 different brand/styles that arrived broken and while the shipping took longer than it said it would im pleased to say it was well worth the wait

It works well , it cools the house. When you can't afford to put in central, get this.
