These 2x2x1 ft dark grey galvanized raised garden beds arrived neatly packaged in a clearly labeled cardboard box with foam padding for protection and the hardware sealed in a bubble-wrap bag. Each panel had a plastic protective film on the outer side that did its job well, though peeling all of it off was more time-consuming than expected and added a noticeable amount of time to the setup process.Assembly was straightforward and didn’t require the instructions. The panels are uniform and fit together solidly. Getting the final panel seated took a bit of effort on the first bed, but on the second one I installed all the bolts loosely first and tightened everything at the end—that made it much smoother. Once put together the beds feel sturdy and hold soil without any issues. There’s no bottom, so they sit directly on the ground, which is ideal for drainage.One note: the rubber/plastic edge trim that comes with them was only enough to cover one of the two beds.Overall I’m very pleased with these. They’re solid, practical raised beds that look good and were easy enough to put together once the film was off. Happy to have them in the garden.

These arrived well packed and even had a wrap so it was not scratched in shipping. Takes a little while to put them all together but worth the time.

We are very pleased with these planters!This is for 2 galvanized metal raised garden beds by GARVEE. They are 2’ wide x 1’ tall. Versatile. You can use them for vegetables or flowers or around trees to protect them. They don’t have a bottom, which allows you to dig out below them, loosening the ground, for deeper root systems to thrive. Or you can scrape off the top layer of grass and deal with what comes.They were easy to put together. Hubby used the gloves that came with. He says he didn’t think he really needed them but he used them just in case. The screws and wing nut assembly was simple and straightforward. They were a better quality of fasteners than we’ve seen for some of our recent gardening ventures. It also comes with a rubbery liner to go over the top edge, uniting the pieces and protecting hands from the sharp edges.While the galvanized steel is thin it’s very strong. Hubby didn’t notice any give when he put them together or placed them. We anticipate these will last through many seasons.

Once you get past the tedious setup and fill them with garden soil, the beds feel sturdy and hold their round shape well without bowing out at the seams.Overall, they are decent, budget-friendly raised beds that get the job done once they are built. If you go into the setup expecting a bit of tedious work and make sure to protect your hands, keeping a pair of these in the garden is a very sensible move.
