Today, It's a canoe rack.

Ordered this "ladder rack" for my Mazda B3000 truck to transport a large, heavy, older fiberglass canoe. It worked great! Plenty of tie down places, and adjustable enough to accommodate a full size truck (if purchased in the future). Received lots of compliments on it's looks.

Better than expected! Wide enough for a 5x8 trailer, hooked to the top rail no problem with some additional U-bolts sold separately.

Carries Long Lumber Like a Champ

I routinely haul 16' boards and trim. The extended top bar gives plenty of support, and with a flag on the end I’m good to go. Way safer than just laying it over the tailgate.
