I like this unit, it's easy to setup and blows a lot of cold air and it's a steal at the current price. But the advertised wattage of 1230 must be for a low mode, because on high I'm seeing the wattage in the 2000 range. Your average 120v 15amp lighting circuit in American homes can not handle that and you'll pop a breaker constantly. It's a great product and if the electrical specifications were advertised properly I'd give it 5 stars.
Over all great buy just wish the tubing was longer for the drip.
I need to find out if there's a way to stop the heat from blowing after it change over. I'm enjoying the coolness but not the heat afterwards. I call the number but its goes to a voice mail
Liked it so much we bought a second for the upstairs bedroom.
