I bought this chest to keep my outdoor cushions dry out of the weather and I needed a large size to make sure the larger cushions fit.I looked around Garvee for a while before making this purchase yo make sure I could find something reliable, waterproof, without spending a fortune.So far, after a few weeks of use, these are my findings.Pros: It was easy to assemble and everything was in perfect shape when they arrived. The size is perfect for the large cushions. It holds 6 chair cushions with lumbar support, two sets of seat and back cushions 25x29 a d these is also room for some kids toys. It is easy to move around thanks to its side handle and wheels. The price was affordable.Cons: the top does not open completely but only at an angle, which is not very convenient. The sheet of material used for the bottom of the chest does not feel very sturdy and I do not feel comfortable storing much other than lightweight items. This sheet is not fixed to the frame and it does not provide a seal therefore, I’m not sure how waterproof this chest could be during the winter when it snows. The top simply lays over the check without any lock or retainer of the lid. I would not put anything heavier than a few pounds on top of the chest. Definitely you can’t use it to seat on it.It does the job for now, and I willSee how it will handle the weather over time.

I’m not sure why the description on the product page states 150 Gallon capacity. I have another 120 Gallon box, and this one seems to have less of a volume.Measuring the internal dimensions, I calculated the volume to be 80 Gallons. Using the outside measurements, including the stands/wheels it still came to less than 120 gallons.Ignoring this issue, the deck box is very well made. Rattan with strong plastic panels covering the interiors. That should prevent most of water splashing/rain from getting in. It has a nice color, very eye pleasing, and will hold quite a few cushions.Assembling the box was a breeze, very good instructions. I recommend that you use a Hex screwdriver, preferably a long one, because some of the screws are next to the panels, using the supplied L screwdriver will make the process very slow.

I bought this to put my patio furniture covers, cushion's and pillows in when not in use or if wet weather comes through (not that often as I’m in CA). It was delivered with no damage, I put it together in about 20 mins. I am good at these type of builds , so no issue, the key is to tighten all bolts to 80%; then when done go back and tighten fully. It was a nice size for what I needed and area I put it. It seems as though I would not call it water proof, but it will keep out most of the water from your contents.

This thing is HUGE! It swallowed up all our patio cushions, pool toys, and even a few gardening tools with room to spare. Assembly took some patience, but once put together, it feels sturdy and weather-resistant. The wheels make it easy to move around, and I love that it doubles as extra seating in a pinch. Great buy if you need serious outdoor storage.
