This is a really nice drain pan. I gave it 5 star, only complaint I have is that during assembly, they glued the fittings and while putting together I broke a 1/2 90 and hose nip. When you assemble just install on pump prior to bolting to tank.. Pump works nicely !
All good except pump cheap hard to turn but pumps oil ok
I change oil in semi trucks. It catches 9-12 gallons of waste oil quite well. It is wide enough I can catch the drain pan and filters at the same time. The transfer is quick and easy. Just clean it up every couple of uses to keep the pump free of debris. Should last a long time for the money. No leaks!
If you deal with heavy equipment, big rigs, or anything that has a lot of fluid in it that you are about to drain and refill, this is what you want.This fluid catcher has everything you want and need in such a piece of equipment.It’s got wheels and a handle pull it, which makes it easy to move around and slide under under equipment and so on.It’s got a pump and long 8 foot hose. It’s low profile and sneaks right in to tight places.It’s got a 17 gallon capacity, which is amazing and also necessary for equipment and machinery.This is a beast when it comes to fluid replacement in high quantities. I highly recommend it.
Lightweight with a large fluid capacity. There is a drain grate to keep parts from falling down into the oil. The pump moves old oil out faster then I expected. Oil cart rolls easy full or empty. Cart is especially nice when doing transmission pan filter work. I would recommend.
I am a DIY mechanic on a few of my projects at home and frequently change oil on most of my vehicles this is a significant upgrade from putting a bucket underneath my truck, nice crawling wheels that help you slide it underneath, nice screen on top, nice pump system I'll update my review in the springtime when I have more usage of it...
I have to say it does work pretty well. The package came delivered looking very rough! But it was all right.
