I found that the cage is a great value considering the cost and simple design. Some parts found loose inside the box but all there. The safety cage required assembly and it was fairly easy but the kit could have used better instructions such as what bolts are for the wheels and which for the fork inserts. Overall, Happy with this purchase.
Nice lift cage, but box arrived damage and one of the silver bars that locks cage to forks on lift was missingIf it had been packed inside the parts box instead of loose in big box with cage it would not have fallen out in shipping
My work around my property is much safer. I have been searching for a basket to use on my tractor forks for a long time. This one is well made and at a reasonable cost. I was going to build one and realized I couldn't do it for the cost of this basket. My wife or my neighbor can now get me to a safe working height to repair my barn or trim trees with a power pole saw. I do double up on the safety attachments to the tractor loader. A safety harness should attach to the tractor and not to the basket. So far I am very impressed with this product in both quality and price.
For the price, you can’t beat it. The only reason I docked it a star was because it was missing a nut. The thing is heavy, and so when it showed up, the packaging was damaged, however the cage was fine, no damage. Also know that it really isn’t useable if you have a 1 series John Deere tractor. I have a 2032R and there is enough weight that you won’t tip, but I wouldn’t be careful with a 2025 and not even try with a 1 series.
