Perfect for any occasion! My husband and I looked into various ice crushers, and this was a definite bang for the buck and was exactly what we were looking for! My dad used it for the first time to make Halo-Halo, a cold, sweet, layered Filipino dessert wherein crushed ice is a must. He was simply amazed that the consistency of the ice was just like what he remembered when making Halo-Halo in the Philippines. My husband also experimented on creating a home-made "snow cone" using organic mixed berries. It was delicious! Imagine other countless ways to use this awesome product not just during summertime but also throughout the year! This ice crusher's unique and is easy to move around. The red on/off button on the left side is easily accessible. For the base, we recommend using a mat or an absorbent washcloth; otherwise, you'll spot small pieces of crushed ice or later melted ice on the surrounding areas. Also, use a small spoon or spatula to slide down any accumulated ice in between the metal and gray lids during the crushing process. When finished, the leftover small pieces of ice melt onto the collecting round tray and can be easily discarded. The inside of the device is then ready to take on another batch of ice (we got ours from our refrigerator). Overall, we recommend this unique product and would be a great addition, if not the highlight of your kitchen appliance collection!

This snow cone machine is incredible!!! I've had several tabletop models, but this one is the creme de la creme. It makes an absolute ton of ice with very little effort. You can certainly use the ice from your fridge, but if you're using it at a larger function, bags of ice might be better. I will note that before the first use, I had to air it out for several days-- the plastic smell is VERY strong. The ice comes out just like the snow cone truck--perfect for adding syrups, fruit juice, or just enjoying plain. I bet my kids and all their friends will be spending a lot of time at our house this summer! =)

This is a well built machine. The plexiglass walls are thick so it keeps ice colder longer. The upper portion is all metal and heavy duty. It shreds ice fast and the door closes securely so it won’t swing open accidentally and let the cold out or not necessary. It even comes with extra blades. This is great for food trucks. It’s not too heavy to travel if needed.

The stainless steel body is a nice touch. It's easy to clean and operates smoothly. Highly recommended for snow cone lovers.

I bought this for a side business and it’s the one machine people want at their parties. It’s literally so easy to work! Plug it in, put your ice in then pull the lever down. That’s it! Then scoop into your cup and add your favorite flavor! It’s a hit anywhere we go!

I ordered this for a birthday party since renting a machine was more expensive and my family throws a lot of events. This takes regular ice cubes and shaves perfect powdery ice for snow cones (this was also great for the margaritas!). The bucket was a perfect size to keep refilling cups over and over and keeps the ice cool. This machine is perfect for the Texas heat.
