I toyed with the idea of giving this three stars; Im a little torm between that and 4. I like the cutting board. It's solid, and it looks nice. But it doesn't look nearly as nice the pics on the listing. It doesn't have that rich multicolored, "multi-layered" look. They definitely photoshopped the listing pics. I like its weight; it doesn't slide around. I like the juice groove, thats always a nice feature in a cutting board. I just wish it looked more like the way they advertised it.

Surprisingly lightweight wood considering how large the surface area is. I love the look of it so much that I don't want to risk scratching it with knife marks. Rather, I plan to use this as a charcuterie board and centerpiece as a trivet for holding hotplates for our dining room table. The natural wood discoloration is gorgeous and with a little detergent or wood polish, the surface seems pretty durable and that it would hold up for quite a long time if treated well. The shallow, rounded-out handles on the sides aren't that easy to hold as they require quite a bit of finger-strength, so I find myself holding underneath the board and just using the handles to place my thumbs for stabilization when carrying it from my kitchen to the dining table. It is a bit pricey at full price, but the look of it is impressive and it is easy for me to carry (weight-wise) as long as I don't count on the handles.

One of the other reviews mentions that they don't think this is acacia and instead believe it's oak. The color tone may be closer (depending on the finish), but you can see that it's definitely not oak if you look at image searches of both woods - oak doesn't have the random dark/light lines and splotches that this does (but remember that because it's natural wood they'll all look different). This being said, the one I got doesn't have a ton of color variation (which makes sense because those pieces are generally of higher value, so unlikely to be used for a cutting board like this, which is on the less expensive side).This cutting board is big and thick. It's got a groove around the edge on one side and is totally flat on the other, with a finger hold groove on the sides for easier grip. It's decently heavy and made of solid wood. Mine did come with a little ding on the grooved side (visible in the pictures) but I didn't dock a star because it's a cutting board - and will be getting marked up a lot here shortly. But if you're giving it as a gift then just know that sometimes that does happen during shipping or such - it is a large piece of wood that's fairly heavy for a cutting board.Because of the weight and size be sure you have a good spot to store it (or just plan on leaving it on the counter all the time). I'm really very impressed with how solid and large it is - it definitely lives up to the claims.

Very nice, thick, heavy-duty cutting board with deep juice grooves. I received it yesterday, and immediately scrubbed it as the directions called for with salt-water. It felt like the wood had already been treated with a wax or sealant of some kind, since the water beaded up on the wood. I didn't notice any 'off' or chemical odors, which I was afraid of. The wood itself is well-finished and smooth. It's measurements are exactly as described, which means it's a generously sized board. I had plenty of space to cut up a small watermelon (and the juice stayed where it was supposed to, rather than dribbling off and onto the floors or counter.)I don't expect to be treating this any more harshly than the extremely cheap bamboo board that lasted for nearly 10 years before this one replaced it, so I think it will be durable and hold up well, based on my use so far. The juice-grooves make it very functional and pleasant to use. My last board had much shallower grooves, which meant a lot more spills.The color of the board I received was much more uniform than I'm used to seeing with acacia, but I like it. It's a clear honey-brown.I did compare similar acacia boards, and this one is comparable in price to most of the others I saw. It is very good quality, so I'd say it's an excellent value.

This GARVEE Cutting Board, 20 x 15 Inch works perfectly for what I ordered it for! First let meadmit I love the hard plastic cutting boards that I can put right in the dishwasher to wash and sterilize, although I used a wood pull out cutting board for 25 years, until it cupped in the middle from cutting, with no issues. I saw this cutting board and came up with the great idea of keeping it by my stove to set my electric fryer or air fryer on when using (probably how countertop cracked in the first place) and mainly to hide the cracked ugly countertop. It works and looks so much nicer than the counter and cheaper than replacing the countertop (other priorities to spend money on like my travels.)There is no doubt that this is a beautiful, heavy duty wood cutting board that would work great for cutting on but not what I wanted it for. The other issue witha board this large is where would you store it if you were not hiding the imperfections on your counter. I can see me using this as a charcuterie board, has those great built in hand holds to move it with. I woulddefinitely recommend this cutting board, very versatile.

Wow, this is an amazing cutting board. To say the least, I was not anticipating it to be this heavy duty and strong. It is a heavy cutting board! Thick, smooth, and the perfect size. Great value for price

This cutting or serving board arrived well packaged. Quite functional, with a lip around the top perimeter and two recessed handles on either end; large overall, very thick, moderately heavy, very substantial. Holds a lot of whatever you want, e.g., lots and lots of cheese and other charcuterie.Overall reasonably attractive, but arrived with several flaws, e.g., a long scratch or gouge on the top surface in one spot, and an area in another spot where the finish was somewhat funky (+ couple additional gouges). The packaging was intact, so this suggests some possible quality control issues at the manufacturer's end. Be sure to inspect carefully upon receipt.

This is now my "go to" board! Looks nice on my counter and is very spacious. I can really get a lot cut up much more quickly with all the added space to work with!

This board is BEAUTIFUL! And huge! I’m thrilled to have one for leaving out on my counter now for prepping fruits and veg and dedicating my smaller one to meats. I appreciate that it arrived with instructions for use and maintenance. I already use wood but know they’d be helpful for beginners. My photo is the board out of the box after getting a salt scrub wash followed by a soap and water wash, then drying and getting a coat of food grade mineral oil. Doing that at least monthly will maintain this beautiful wood for years to come! I’m very happy with it and am especially glad it has finger divots on the side for easy pickup. This is a 10/10 snag for the $36.99 price tag! Acacia wood is hard/durable and wonderfully hydrophobic for long term use. You can’t beat the price for this size! Absolutely worth it.

This cutting board is big. You will have plenty of room to cut everything you need probably on one board at one time. lol It is good quality and thick enough. It’s pretty light for its size. I do have a hard time fitting it somewhere and even washing it is a pain but when I use it to cut meat or just to use as a serving plate it is absolutely awesome. I was looking for something of this size and this was it. If you want one of this size it’s a great value compared tote others.Enjoy!
