Why did you pick this product vs others?:The directions were hard af to follow. I messed up twice putting it together. Those pictographs were NOT my friend…. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and was definitely worth the hassle.

I bought this about 6 months ago and so far it is doing great. The construction is sturdy and the look is beautiful. It did come with some missing pieces, which is a downfall, but we were able to make other things work in their place. I get lots of compliments on how nice this shade house is. Would recommend if you are looking for a beautiful shade house! For the most part, the rain doesn't come through a majority of the top but there are drainage holes throughout the top piece so the water on top will eventually drain but sometimes puddles do accumulate and weigh the top down some so be mindful of that, I check on mine after a heavy rainfall and assist the water with draining so it doesn't weigh it down. The directions to assemble could be a lot clearer, but if you have experience putting together large items you will do ok. Took 2 people about 4 hours to build, mostly trying to figure out the instructions. Provides a ton of shade! The wind will sometimes push the top back but you can easily slide it back.
Looks great, but missing a few parts, some end caps. But otherwise love the shade and the ambiance.
