This is an awesome cage that is very well made and I like the shiny steel construction plus the locks are well made as well plus I like that I can move it around with the locking wheels.
This sturdy and easy to clean crate is not for animals who thinks it their only job is find a way out of it's kennel. The two raccoons kits that I was raising, found that the latch could be manipulated from the inside and were out less than 5 minutes after they were put in for the first time. A dog who is active inside the crate could easy shake the locking mechanism open. Also, because it is made from stainless steel, each bar is seated in more stainless steel, and any time the animal moves, the whole crate (all the bars) make metal on metal noise. It is noisy all night long.
Love everything about this dog crate, it's spacious and my dog has no problem staying in it, he doesn't feel trapped, it's heavy

My old crate presented no challenges to this new dog, but she wasn't going to ruin the dog. This crate keeps her safe when I have to put her in a cage. It's heavy and easy to assemble. I like that the top opens so I can reach in if necessary.
