Assembly was pretty quick and simple. Started right up after priming and everything. Build quality is a bit lacking with the quality of plastic casing and gas tank but I’m sure as long as you take care of it and keep it out of extreme cold it’ll be fine. Plus for the price it works great! Made blowing all the leaves from my massive oak tree a piece of cake even after it rained the day before.
Solid build quality. What I love most is the cruise control throttle lock. On long stretches of my driveway, I can just set the speed and walk without my finger getting cramped up from holding the trigger. The vibration is very minimal in the handle compared to my neighbor's expensive name-brand one. It feels like a professional-grade tool but at a much more reasonable price point.
2-stroke engines can be a nightmare to start, but this one is surprisingly reliable. I followed the priming instructions, and it fired right up on the second pull out of the box. Even on cold mornings, it doesn't give me a hard time. The fuel efficiency is also impressive; I managed to finish my entire driveway and backyard on one tank with plenty to spare. Just make sure you mix your fuel/oil correctly and it runs like a dream.
I’ve been using a handheld blower for years, and it always left my arm shaking and my back sore for days. Switching to this Garvee backpack model was the best decision I’ve made this fall. The padded straps are actually thick and don't dig into my shoulders. It distributes the weight so well that I spent nearly two hours clearing my 1-acre lot and felt totally fine afterward. The ventilated back support is a nice touch too—no "sweaty back" syndrome!
