I used this drag to renovate about half an acre of yard. After rough grading with a box scraper, I pulled this behind my UTV to break up clumps and level the soil before seeding. It did a fantastic job of knocking down high spots and filling in lows, leaving a nice even surface. The 6 FT chain makes turning and backing up manageable, and the harrow tracks well behind the machine. Way easier than hand raking that much ground.
Works well with weight on it
I bought the 8 FT version to maintain our long gravel driveway, and it worked better than I expected. Hooked it up to my ATV with the 6 FT chain and made a few passes — washboard and potholes were basically gone. The adjustable bars let me add concrete blocks for extra bite, which really helps cut into packed gravel. For a 70 lb drag made of heavy‑duty steel, the green powder coating looks good and seems tough. This has already saved me multiple trips from ordering new gravel.
Absolutely happy with this harrow. It is the right size and handles what we need for smoothing out areas on our property as well as gravel drive.
