The calibration process is intuitive, and the kit includes everything needed for successful splicing, from the cleaver to the protective sleeves. Nevertheless, there is room for enhancement in customer service, as responses to inquiries about the app’s features were not as clear or helpful as they could be.

For someone starting out, the setup was straightforward, and the user manual was detailed enough to guide me through my first few splices. The hardest part, indeed, is getting the fiber cleaving right, but once mastered, the results are professional-grade. However, the technical support could use some improvement, particularly regarding the app’s functionality, where certain features like the WELD IMAGE field seem underdeveloped.
