I wish the built-in light strips were pushed out to the edge of the mirror vs being indented about 2 inches all around. This design choice eliminated the actual usable mirror surface area by 4 inches in width and height. So the total usable width is 15 inches and height is 23 inches. If you get the bigger mirror, this might not be as big of an issue. The placement of the controls is also questionable, why not have it at the bottom corner vs a third of the way from the left side of the mirror?
This comes with a French cleat to hang, which I love, but I wish the cleat had a little more margin for error. Most other cleats have a little larger gap to compensate for uneven walls and make mirrors easier to hang. This was a little tricky to hang, but I'm very satisfied with the results. You could potentially put a few washers behind the cleat to give you a little more room. Also, I went ahead and drilled holes in the cleat so I could hit two studs for more strength.I was hoping this would be bright enough that I wouldn't need a vanity light, but I think you need both. I just wired through the wall to the Vanity electrical box and both are controlled with the same switch. The mirror can be turned on and off with the switch in the center of the mirror if need be.
Nothing more can be said. The mirror is awesome, and has become a focal point of our master bathroom.
Easy to install. Looks great and the light is nice with the line all the way around the edge of the mirror. 3 shades of lighting. Nice modern design
