Having always wanted to have my own garden, I decided to start small and with things that I knew I could grow rather easily. Being in Florida i have the perfect weather to grow things outside, but where i live, the ground is mostly sand and red clay. So, i decided to use planters, containers, and raised boxes. I thought that these would be a perfect addition to my garden collection, to use to grow some muscadine grapes that I'd grow into medium sized plantlets from seeds at the beginning of spring.✅ EASY ASSEMBLY: opening the box and laying everything out, all the different panels, the boards, the screws and hardware, including the two different sides that are independently mobile and can bend and fold like a divider with hinges, it can get extremely overwhelming and chaotic. however, the assembly instructions that are included with the kit is very easy to understand and follow. once you get the boxes assembled, everything from there forward is pretty much self explanatory and very easy to complete. this took me, by myself, less than 45 minutes to fully assemble, inside of my house before easily carrying it outside.✅ VERY LIGHT (WHEN EMPTY): the great thing about its size and being able to assemble it inside the house, is that the materials (the wood), is so very lightweight that being 5' 0" inches tall, and all of 110lbs on a good day, i was able to carry it outside or my house and I to my backyard, by myself, without too much strain. it's mainly just awkward to hold and grip, as opposed to being heavy.✅ TALL TRELLISES: both panels of this planter have tall trellises attached to the backs of the boxes. the trellises are nice and tall and have plenty of surface area as well as holes for the plants to be able to attach and climb. this is especially great for muscadines since they are very strong veining plants that rely on climbing and vining to thrive and produce their fruit.❌ CAN BE EASY TO TIP OVER: i learned the hard way, that even though the wood is very lightweight and a good quality to withstand the outside elements, if the boxes are not completely filled with dirt or substrate (on both sides of the panel), the entire structure is very easy to fall over with a hard gust of wind. while this was outside, even though i did bend the panels to create a V-shape for more stability, the whole thing kept falling over with the wind blowing. so this whole structure is definitely heavily dependent on the bottom boxes being filled and holding the stability to the ground like an anchor, unless you are able to somehow attach the trellises to a structure behind it to keep it upright.✅ INCLUDES PLANTER BOX BOTTOMS + DRAIN HOLES: having a similar planter like this that did not come with any kind of bottom paneling, the bottoms of the boxes were very greatly appreciated. not only are they removable and are still able to be put in snug in their place, but they also have drainage holes in the bottoms to let out excess water. having a bottom to the planter boxes is awesome especially if you are to place this in a grassy area where weeds could have growing up and through the planter box, as well as grass. if placed on a paved surface, this keeps soil off the ground and allows for adequate drainage. i really love that this included bottoms.Overall, this is a great kit. It's definitely fully functional and practially functional at that. For what it is though, it's a little more expensive than what I personally thunk it should be, especially for the type of wood, and the few flaws that it has, but in general it's a great planter and great decoration that's perfect to use as a divider for climbing plants. The way it is hinged gives this versatility in the purposes that it can be used, as well. So, even though it's a little late in the season for me to get my muscadine planlets fully planted and acclimated to being outside in the sun, this is definitely something I plan to make full use of, next immediate planting season.⚠️ 📌 OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ FOUR STARS ———————————————————————♡
