I’m a pro landscaper and switched to this fabric for all my clients. Cheaper brands rip easily – this 5.8oz heavyweight blocks weeds for years. Lets soil breathe and won’t degrade in sun. Use heavy-duty staples on slopes though

It is thick and it to hold up over time. Don't need big and wide weed blocker, so like the thrifty and already sized to fit spaces all around my yard. Couldn't be more pleased with buying this product. It is the traditional quality and appearance of larger sheets for larger products, if you have those weed tarps, but this is the perfect manageable size and appearance.This is professional quality weed tarp.

Tough Fabric that's easy to work with

I'm using this as a base between dirt and compacted gravel, to keep the gravel from getting pushed into the dirt when wet. We easily rolled the material out to cover the desired area, overlapping each pass by one foot, then put in landscape staples to hold it in place. A huge 20-yard dump truck drove over it to deposit the gravel, with no damage to the cloth. Excellent product. I've also used it as a weed/grass barrier beneath my fruit trees, where it's been doing a great job for three years, with no rips or apparent degradation from the sun.
