Works great. Was easy to install for my son. Made going into my side yard from the garage so much easier and safer

This arrived in perfect condition. All of the components were pretty easy to figure out. They were well packaged and sorted. The instructions were very clear. Assembly only took a few minutes. Because of the shape of this you only really need one person because it can be assembled laying flat on its side which is helpful.Each of the components are light enough to not put a lot of pressure on the mounting mechanism. But very sturdy and rigid. There's definitely no bending or warping with body weight on them. However, structurally they will only ever be as strong as your ability to mount them into the steps and what your steps are made of. So keep that in mind when you are planning these as a safety mechanism.So like I am putting these into wood steps. But the wood is brand new. And I am using the necessary mounting screws for such materials. If you are going to be putting this into old wood, or other materials, you will want to adjust your approach a bit for that. This stair railing is very solid, but it's ability to hold weight is going to be based on the screws and material that it's attached to most likely. Because this is pretty solid metal, so it's going to hold up on its end fine.The black coating is smooth and even. So it should hold up long-term to the elements. It will also be very easy if it gets scratched, to lightly sand and then touch up with any Rust-Oleum. I got this because it's going to be easy to keep it looking good for the longest. So long as the coating is maintained, the metal will be protected and stand the test of time.Once it's properly mounted, it's incredibly stable. There is no wobble here. It doesn't feel like any of the joints are going to get loose or destabilize. If you were going to be using it on a platform with vibrations or something like for pulling an RV up to, then you could also use JB weld at the point of the screws to ensure there is no vibrating them loose over time. However for most normal uses, that shouldn't be necessary.

I just finished installing this one and here's my assessment. Let's start with the look. I think it looks decent. It railing and there is not too much fancy about it, but it does the job. When its installed with the 8 tension anchors in concrete, it is very solid. I can apply all my wight on it and it will hold firm. These are the good parts.The size may be a bit small, but that depends on your situation. It is only 2 steps so make sure you you get what you need for your job. You can wee how it looks from the picture I took. Installing it was a bit more of an issue. There are a few things you need to do to make installing go well.1. Make a template for the holes, especially if you are putting it into concrete. You will need to make your own with cardboard or paper.2. All the instructions are in metric, so what you need is a 5/16 hammer-drill bit. Looking it up, some recommendations are to go 1 wider, but DON'T, go exactly with 5/16.3. Use real tools. They provide a piece of metal to be used as a wrench. Just no, won't work, use a ratchet if you can.

This product is well made and super easy toinstall . The hand rail is shaped well for a comfortable grip and it is very sturdy . I mounted on wooden steps with lag bolts . It comes with anchor bolts for concrete steps. The value is great too . Other products look no better and cost more .
