I wasn't sure what to expect with this heated rug. I didn't know if it would be a heat that also warms the air around it or if it would be more like a heated blanket that keeps the heat to the person using it. It is more like a heated blanket. If you're on the blanket you feel the heat, if you're not, you won't really get any residual heat.I am a fan of fluffy style rugs like this. This lacks a little fluffiness, but looks very fluffy and comfortable. You can feel the wires in the rug when you walk on it. Out of context the rug would be weird. I was hoping to use this under my desk (then I wouldn't have to wear socks!) but I am a little afraid of squishing the wires that move the heat around. And I'm really not sure about putting a desk chair on top of it. A little disappointing, but I found a place for it in the family room.The rug itself has to stay plugged in, and you can control the rug from the power source, but it does have a wireless remote to turn it on and off. It also have timer settings. Now, if this is able to go under my desk, it also has a left side/right side heating option (lengthwise.) As a final note, my cat loves this rug!

Practical tip: this works better for gentle, background warmth rather than serious cold floors, so it’s best for people who want light comfort heat, not intense heating. Overall, it’s cozy and well-made, but the heat level may not satisfy everyone.

This 4 x 6 heated rug fits perfectly in front of my sectional to keep my feet toasty warm. The material is so soft and cozy, it feels awesome. The deep gray color is really pretty. This is the smallest size offered, the larger sizes also include a wireless remote which this smaller one doesn't have. But it is easy enough to hit the button on the cord and set it to low, medium, or high heat, and it works wonderfully. Bonus - my cats think it's awesome and warm too!

It is a nice small heated rug. The fur is soft and long. I have a jute rug underneath so it feels good enough for me. The quality seems to be good. It works well and the lowest setting is warm enough for me, especially with blankets.

I wish it came with more temperature control, timer function and choice of heated side. Also I wish the connecting part were not in the middle of the rug on the side. The cord is very visible because of the design. But for the price, all of extra functions I wanted would be too much to ask for.

I’m very happy with this purchase. Great price and good product. I hope it lasts long.
