I like this garbage can, because it has 3 separate bins, one for garbage, one for compost items and a bin for recycling items. The only problem is the the lid doesn't open automatically with the wave of your hand. Otherwise it would be a 5 star rating.
Love the touch and open lid, didn’t leave any fingerprint's and the foot pedal opened and shut smoothly. A definite upgrade to the horrible plastic garbage bins I had previously.
So convenient, organized, and we love having wheels to bring it to the counter for clean up.
We have tried several other pedal bins in the past, but the pedal mechanism always broke within a few weeks. So far, this bin has been working very smoothly. We particularly like the design of the removable inner bin inside the stainless steel shell... This makes emptying the bin and keeping it clean much easier than cans that don't have a removable liner.
Love that we can have more than 2 compartments. We don’t produce much trash so this allows us to have composting bin in the same bin.
The compartments allows to meet state regs for reycle,garbage and compost. Also does not take up any more space then my previous bin

Happy with this purchase. Ideal size for medium size kitchens, I really like the recycle bin at the bottom. The wheels are so convenient for relocating when needed. I prefer it better to the tall trash cans.
