While the carpet is very nice overall, it looks like the pattern didn't get printed deep enough, so if you don't brush it just the right way, you get a lot of white showing up where there should be color. As people are going to be walking on this, you shouldn't need to do this.On the other hand, machine washable, it's soft, it stays in place, so for man cave purposes it works. My mom, on the other hand, complains because she notices stuff like that and cares.1 star off for making me listen to my mom complain.
I’m new to washable rugs and I bought 2 different brand rugs in the last 2 weeks. I just took this rug out of the box, and I can already tell this rug is thicker, heavier, much softer, and the binding on the edges is better as in solid stitching no gaps in the stitches. This rug is much better than one I bought last week for about the same price. The rug is unfolded and laying on the floor as I type so we will see how the creases from packaging relax and how it lasts in the future. I think I’m going to try to steam the rug to relax the creases. Good deal for sure.Update#1: steaming the rug got the creases from it being folded up, but several areas lengthwise seem to have stretched where it was folded on the outermost surface and the stretches have not relaxed after being steamed. This causes waves in the carpet— hope it’s not a tripping hazard.
