Reviews
The packaging is very solid. When I opened the package, the thickness of the product material was much better than I expected, and there were no scratches. The product was deep and large in volume, and it was electric. This way my honey could be canned as scheduled in July.
Switched from a hand‑crank 2‑frame extractor to this 140W 4‑frame electric model and the difference is night and day. The variable speed is fantastic — I start slow to protect the comb and then ramp it up to around 1200 RPM to finish. Frames come out mostly intact and I’m getting noticeably more honey per box. The stainless steel drum cleans up easily, and the new side handles make it much easier to move, even when it’s sticky. For a small backyard beekeeper with 6–10 hives, this is more than enough extractor.
The 140W motor on this extractor is no joke. It spins up quickly and the adjustable dial lets me fine‑tune the speed depending on whether I’m running deep or medium frames. I really appreciate the auto‑stop safety feature — as soon as you crack the clear lid, the motor cuts off. With kids occasionally in the shed, that gives me peace of mind. At full 1300 RPM it’s a bit louder than I expected, but bolting the legs down through the pre‑drilled holes helped reduce vibration a lot. Overall very happy.
I run 8 hives and this 4‑frame electric extractor hits the sweet spot. Doing four deep frames at once keeps the workflow moving without overwhelming my small workspace. The adjustable stand height is a great touch — I raised it so a standard bucket slides under the honey gate, which keeps things neat. The stainless steel interior is smooth with no weird seams, and cleaning after a long harvest day is surprisingly easy. For the price point, it feels like a professional‑grade piece of equipment.
