Geotextile is permeable material geotextile made of polymer fibers through hot pressing and needling, gluing, and weaving, also known as geotextiles, including several types such as woven geotextile and non-woven geotextile

Geotextile is for major construction erosion control. You use this under concrete or pavement! It does allow drainage. You can use this on retainer walls and walk paths, but it is not its intended purpose. The purpose of this material is for heavy loads and high traffic. It is not a weed-stop.

Great weed suppressant

if you do a lot of hard escaping in your garden and need a good barrier for weeds. This is the product. I have ordered it twice and could not be happier. I’ve used it under rock pads and other areas in the garden to suppress the weeds. It’s been a lifesaver. I can’t recommend highly enough

Not nearly as thick as expected (but still ok)

When compared with the thickness of a similar cloth from a private supplier, this one was far thinner than the other, even though it was listed as being the same “weight”. However, it is good quality for what it is, and will still work for what I’m using it for. But if thickness/weight is important to you, maybe order a smaller roll first to ensure it’s what you need.

Excellent

So far, so good! The quality is excellent, and it looks very durable. On the day of installation, it ended up raining before we put the rocks on top and despite the thickness, the drainage was excellent and there was no standing water.

Thick, durable woven fabric.

Very thick and feels like excellent quality. This is woven material and it will stop weeds. I did run water over it and the water does go through the cloth into the dirt so it will not create any new drainage problems. I would definitely buy this again.
