Be sure to check whether your brush cutter has a splined shaft or a smooth shaft. I didn't check before I ordered and ended up sending this one back in the original condition because my brush cutter has a smooth shaft. It looked substantial and would be just what you need to avoid having to replace shear pins.

Nice unit.

I like it. I purchased one last year for another project and it worked out well, so I would say that these are a must have if you don't want to do damage to your equipment. When I got a rock tangled up in my 3-point mower, the clutch kicked out as it should, and nothing was damaged. Sure did beat having to change shear bolts.
