This is a very beautiful rug that reminds me of the traditional Persian or Turkish rugs you often see in homes and businesses- but this one has a more modern boho feel to it. I received the rug folded and it had a few creases in it- but since it is a washable rug I put it in the machine in the regular wash cycle and then took it out and laid it flat to dry. By morning it was completely dry and all the creases were gone.I should note that this rug is not a thick rug if that’s what you are expecting- it is thin enough that it can be wadded or folded up and put into a standard size washing machine. For the larger sizes of this rug you may have to use a commercial washer at a laundromat, but I had no trouble washing the 5’7 rug in my machine at home.The thing I didn’t expect about this rug is how soft it is! It feels like velvet or a similar fabric underneath your feet. This rug is well worth the money and is perfect for someone who needs a low maintenance rug that can be washed in case of spills or accidents. It is perfect for people with small children or pets that track in mud/ dirt. Beautiful traditional style rug with a modern boho twist. 5 stars!

This rug feel nice to the touch, and nice underfoot. The pile is thin, and the backing looks like it will be durable. It laid pretty flat when I unwrapped it, even though it had been folded. The one I have is 5'x7' so even though it is supposed to be washable, I don't think I would dare put it into my large front load washing machine - I'd be more likely to take it to a commercial machine in a laundromat.My only disappointment is with the colors. I really liked the background, which is a greige. I also really liked the muted colors in the borders. But the colors in the large center area were much brighter. I did not see any blue or darker peach/orange in the online photos, and this has a lot of "country" blue as well as a deep peach color. Both of them were nicer and more subtle in the borders, but brighter in the center section, particularly with their thicker and darker black outlining. If the whole rug had been as subtle in color as the borders were, it would definitely have been 5-stars for me.The other thing I didn't appreciate were some of the bizarre designs. The description said they were supposed to be Oriental, but to me they looked more Aztec - and some were like geometric designs on hallucinogenic drugs, and just looked weird to me. However, the overall effect looks pretty good if your decor includes country blue and dark peach colors. Unfortunately, mine does not, although the dark peach does tie in somewhat with my cabinets.

This rug covers a good area and adds a nice sense of dimension to the room. It looks great, feels soft underfoot, and is easy to clean—especially helpful in a busy household.Whether for style or practicality, it’s a solid choice that enhances the space without overwhelming it.
